Awards, Programs, & Projects

Each year Monticello Main Street presents awards of recognition to volunteers, businesses, and organizations that have contributed to the success of our downtown and the entire community.

On-going programs and projects include the Façade Improvement Matching Grant program, downtown flowers, holiday tree lights, and downtown murals. New programs that are in the planning stage include alley beautification, mapping downtown for economic development purposes, and a resource guide to help new and existing businesses.

With the growing number of programs and projects, Monticello Main Street is always looking for more volunteers to help in our mission of making our downtown the best it can possibly be.

Annual Meeting

Monticello Main Street holds an Annual Meeting each Winter near the 1st of the year at a local establishment. At the event members and guests hear about the accomplishments of Monticello Main Street that year and the plans for the following year. The new year's Board of Directors is announced, and many recognitions are presented to individuals and businesses that contributed special efforts toward the success of our downtown.
