National Accreditation

Monticello Main Street, Inc. has been accredited as a 2009 National Main Street Program for meeting the commercial district revitalization performance standards set by the National Trust Main Street Center. Monticello Main Street joins over 675 other Main Street revitalization programs being recognized as 2008 National Main Street Programs. Each year, the National Trust Main Street Center and its coordinating program partners announce the list of accredited National Main Street Programs around the country that have demonstrated their ability to follow the Main Street methodology.

Annual Meeting

Monticello Main Street holds an Annual Meeting each Winter near the 1st of the year at a local establishment. At the event members and guests hear about the accomplishments of Monticello Main Street that year and the plans for the following year. The new year's Board of Directors is announced, and many recognitions are presented to individuals and businesses that contributed special efforts toward the success of our downtown.
